We're Going on a Bear Hunt

This week Nursery have been exploring the classic tale, We're Going on a Bear Hunt. Each day they explored a different texture from the story: long wavy grass, squelchy mud, crunchy sticks, soft sand, cold water. By the end of the week they had made a story map to recall the events of the story. 

They also travelled along an obstacle course: jumping, crawling, climbing, hopping and balancing- just like the difficult journey the family in the story made.
