Viking Experience Day
To launch our new book "How to Train Your Dragon" for this half term, Year 3 spent the day immersing themselves as Viking characters from the book.
They designed themselves a Viking helmet, created a Viking name for themselves and began their Dragon initiation programme.
"This book is going to be awesome. Dragons are fierce and I think they will eat the Vikings!"
In our history session we then learnt about where the Vikings came from and why they invaded.
"Vikings means pirate raid. That means they liked treasure and to steal things like pirates do."
