Receptions Toy Swap

In Reception they have been learning about old and new toys. To help them understand what happens to old toys when we are finished with them, they had their very own toy swap! The children bought in a toy that they no longer need or want to play with in exchange for another toy that one of their friends had bought in. To make it fair they had a random wheel to choose which children got to choose a toy. All of the children in Reception were very happy with their new toys and so grateful that they got to swap their toy for a new one! They also used it as a chance to learn about fairness and democracy by using a random lucky dip for when the children had their chance to choose.
