The Very Hungry Caterpillar

This week Nursery have been exploring the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. They have learnt about the process of metamorphosis to show how caterpillars transform in to butterflies. 

Nursery had some very special visitors to help with their understanding of this process. Five baby caterpillars arrived at school and Nursery have been caring for them and watching their progress as they develop into butterflies. 

They have also been thinking about healthy eating linked to the food in the story.
