The day the Fire Brigade came.

Reception had special visitors today linked to our theme of the week 'Fireworks'. The Fire Brigade came, Fireman Ben and Fireman Sam talked to us about what they did to keep our families and friends safe. We looked at the uniform they wear to stay safe when tackling a fire, and Fireman Ben showed us all the equipment they use. We listened so well that they let us all sit inside the fire engine. We then continued our admiration for all they do for us by pretending to keep our classroom safe from fires.
