Pilgrimage 2025

On 9.4.25, the whole school took part in our annual Pilgrimage. Each class was given an area of the Easter story to retell through poetry, linking into the schools recent visit from the 'Rhyming Bible Company'. Each part of the Easter story also linked into the 6 values that we as a school are focusing on across the year.

Year 1 – Palm Sunday – Value - Joy

Year 2 – Good Friday – Value - Forgiveness

Year 3 – Denial by Peter - Value – Honesty

Year 4 – Maundy Thursday and Last Supper – Value -  Hope

Year 5 – Trial  - Value - Compassion.

Year 6 – Betrayal, Arrest, Jesus’ appearance after resurrection.  Values – Respect

Each year group then finished with a prayer they had written, focussed on their value.

Reception also took part in Easter week by creating Easter gardens, which were taken to church and proudly displayed. They also wrote and read out a prayer during our Easter worship in church.

It was lovely to see so many parents and visitors come in and celebrate our Pilgrimage with us.
