Head teacher's Update

The spring term draws to a close and on reflection it really has been a term of success for the whole school community. Our inspections went really well and I have outlined some of the points that I think sum up our school on a separate letter. You can also read both inspection reports on our school website. I am going to stop talking about inspection now though because any school that strives to succeed has to do it for the good of the children and, being a church school, for the wider community. This morning's Easter Bonnet Parade was an example of our whole school community coming together to celebrate an important time in our church school calendar. The turn out was amazing, the children were happy and there has been a real buzz around the school today because of it. The Easter Pilgrimage was probably the most moving one we've done yet; the Easter story is both solemn and joyous at the same time, and I think that it's impressive that children of such a young age can express those emotions through their writing. We look forward to further success and achievement in the summer term. Enjoy the break with your families.

Wishing you all a happy and peaceful Easter from Halesowen CE Primary.
