Building Cars

For their DT project Year 1 have been designing and building their own toy cars. They started off by researching and evaluating different toy cars which are already available. They considered which cars worked best, and also which ones looked the best. 

From this they then explored the mechanical system that their toy cars would need- an axle and wheels. They investigated using different sizes and materials for the wheels to see which would be the most effective.
