Today Year 2 took part in a Little Makers workshop hosted by the Black Country Museum. This was a follow up visit from our trip to the museum. 

During our time at the museum, we looked at the different types of banners that women chainmakers had made and carried. We then used this knowledge to create our own applique banners. 

We designed our own ribbon and crest then heat pressed them onto our banners. All of the children produced an amazing banner and thoroughly enjoyed their workshop!
