Life Cycle of a Butterfly

In Year 2 Science, the children have been learning about the life cycle of animals. Over the last few weeks children have been carefully observing the growth, development and changes of caterpillars into butterflies. Once the metamorphosis was complete and the butterflies were ready the children were able to release them.
