English

English is a core subject. At Halesowen C of E we realise the importance of teaching the children to speak and listen, read and write. These skills can be the key that unlocks learning in other areas of the curriculum. 

Each aspect of English learning is carefully planned in line with the EYFS framework and the National Curriculum. Each area is interlinked but also stands alone.
