OUR EASTER PILGRIMAGE
Our Easter Pilgrimage is based on the animals that witnessed the events of Holy Week.
The children listened to the story from the perspective of the animals through the book
All the art work and writing was created by the children in each class. They wrote as the animal and then decorated an outline too.
| Palm Sunday Year 1 | The donkey wondered why so many people met him waving palm leaves. This must be a very special man he carried. |
| The Last Supper Year 4 | The mouse sat and watched as everyone gathered and sat down to eat together. |
| The Garden of Gethsemane Year 5 | The dove saw Jesus pray on his own as his followers slept. |
| The Denial Year 3 | The cockerel crowed 3 times while watching the confusion of Peter. |
| The Trial Year 2 | Each horse carried a Roman solider. They knew something wasn't right. |
| The Crucifixion Year 6 | Jesus took his last break as the crows looked on. |
| The Resurrection Reception and Nursery | A mole climbed through his hole to find an empty tomb - Jesus had risen! |
