Dudley Zoo Trip Year 1

To support their Science topic of animals, Year 1 took a visit to Dudley Zoo. Here they were able to apply their knowledge of different animal types, identifying different mammals, reptiles and birds. 

As part of our visit we also has a talk with one of the keepers. They told us all about food chains that we might see at the zoo. We were able to look at different animal skulls and identify if they came from a predator or a prey by looking at the size and shapes, and the types of teeth they have.
