Collective Worship at Church- Year 5 and 6

This week Year 5 and 6 went to church for a special collective worship. This half term we have been thinking about the value of Compassion. Together we thought about how we can show compassion to others in school. 

The children heard the bible quote: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” We then thought carefully about who our neighbour could be using a modern version of The Good Samaritan parable, using our local football teams as inspiration.
