On Monday 12th December, the children were able to decide what about Christmas they wanted to learn.
Year 1 learnt all about Christmas decorations.
Year 2 learnt all about who Santa was and where the tradition came from.
Year 3 learnt all about Snow- What snow is made up of, the history involving snow and they also made snow globes.
Ethan- My favourite part was the quiz about the snow. I found that Japan was the snowiest country.
Lydia- I enjoyed the snow maths, because we got to do some difficult questions. And we got to watch the Snowman and the Snow Dog.
Nikola- I enjoyed the snow quiz finding out how long it takes a snow flake to fall- it takes an hour and a half
Esther- I enjoyed making the snow globes and drawing the pastel snowy night scenes.
Year 4 learnt all about Christmas Movies. When the first one was released, what Home Alone was all about and they even got to make traps to catch the naughty elves!
Elijah - I enjoyed today because we got to create things and we added maths into the lesson too.
Lilia- I found it was fun seeing the first Christmas film. I loved the classroom invaders. I loved that we watched Home Alone and made traps for the invaders.
Tailormae - I enjoyed making traps and watching Home Alone and finding that the elf took over our classroom.
Lamin - I really like the day. It was very cool and exciting. I loved it!
Dibora - I have enjoyed take over today. We learnt about movies and how to make a trap
Year 5 learnt about Christmas food. They used Yule log to help them learn about Fractions and spent time creating a 3 course meal for people without a home.
Year 6 created their own modern nativity. They thought about how they could modernise it using gifts of mobile phones etc.
I loved how we got to work together to have fun and a laugh. Enya

I liked it because all the groups were able to put some jokes into it. Charlie
