Reception Visit to the Charity Shop

As part of their learning this half term Reception have been learning about old toys. As part of this, Reception went on a short walk to a local charity shop to donate old school toys. The children went in two groups to take a bag of toys for other people to get use out of. Some of the children were so brave and explained to the shop keepers why we were donating these toys. One child said "we are bringing toys to donate to children who are sick or poor and don't have money for toys". Another child said "we are donating toys for the other children". It was lovely to see the children being so sensible walking through Halesowen town and remembering our expectations, as well as how to stay safe.
