Black Country Living Museum Year 2

In History Year 2 have been exploring what life was like in the Black Country. During the trip the children were able to explore how houses and shops had changed since the late 1800s. They explored many of the different trades that were an important part of our local history such as chain making in the forge. 

They also had a lesson in the Victorian school building. They found teachers were much stricter back then, classrooms could be very crowded and there was not a computer in sight!
