We welcomed author Jason Beresford into our school as part of our World Book Day celebrations.

He began the day by entertaining the whole school with some of his books and singing a song called, 'I want to marry my mummy.'

Lockie MAi - I liked the song because of his voice

Eleanora 'I like the mummy because he was in the song.    

Oscar ' I liked the music'     

Walter - it was great, he was so funny 

Linah - the new song is so good and funny, I wanna marry my mum

He then did a writing workshop with Years 3,4,5 and 6.

Sgt.Jaguar was reading the weekly newsletter when she saw an article about an EVIL DONUT raiding Jo’s Donut store just around the corner from her.

She leaped out of her chair and ran out the door into the busy town to investigate. But she stopped for a moment when she heard helicopter rotors above her.

She looked up to see a young news reporter with a camera leaning out the side door of the helicopter. Her eyes followed the camera, wondering what on earth they could be filming, and she saw THE EVIL DONUT stealing from Larry’s Pastries!

 Sgt.Jaguar sprinted over to the shop, and instantly a sprinkle exploded in front of her with a loud BOOM she stumbled backwards and immediately activated her superspeed, lashing out at THE EVIL DONUT but got icing under her claws.

As she was removing the icing, an icing shard flew at her like a lightning bolt. Sgt.Jaguar staggered backwards once again. She found her time to strike when THE EVIL DONUT lost balance and fell face flat onto the floor. But suddenly, there was a beeping sound to the right of Sgt.Jaguar, and she saw a bomb with a 15 second countdown...
