Head teacher's Update
So a really challenging week for us in school. An Ofsted Inspection and a Church School Inspection almost at the same time could be seen as an impossible feat. However, we have done it and I am proud to say that we did well in both. I can't officially tell you the outcome of either yet, but I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful school community; parents, carers, governors-not forgetting our amazing staff and even more amazing pupils! An apology must accompany the positivity though as we had to cancel our Phonics Workshop this week due to the fact that we just couldn't fit it in. Perhaps the most impressive thing about this week though is that, having just walked around the school, the staff are teaching really vibrant, exciting lessons and the children are again engrossed in their learning even though everyone is shattered! Also this week Year 4 and our Reception class managed to fit in a visit to the Sycamore Outdoor Centre and I know (because I took them) that they had a really enjoyable time. One final note: Can you make sure that you visit our new website for all further dates and information. Thank you for your continued support. A prayer from Hanan in Year 4-
'So let our dreams come true as we show compassion, kindness and love to each other. Amen'

Year 4 had a fantastic day at the Sycamore Play centre this week. They came back full of excitement and are even making a leaflet in their writing morning to advertise it.
